Using TalkPath Therapy Software in a Clinical Setting: 0.7 CEU Self Study

This course has been developed for delivery to speech-language pathologists. It is registered with ASHA for 0.7 CEU.

This course is only available to SLPs who have completed a 7-hour TalkPath Therapy trial as part of the Lingraphica Certification Program.
Enrollments are restricted to SLPs who are currently enrolled in the Lingraphica Certification Program and have participated in and completed a 7-hour software trial. To learn more about LCP, click here: Lingraphica Certification Program
As part of LCP, you are required to complete seven hours of work with Lingraphica’s TalkPath Therapy app or website. To get started, download the time log from the link listed in the Resources section. Fill in the time log with all of the time you spent using TalkPath Therapy.
Once you have completed the time log, return to this course and start the process of receiving your CEUs.
You will need to upload a completed PDF of your time log, view the video, pass the assessment, and complete the course evaluation in order to receive credit for this course.

Learners must use the most updated version of Chrome for all CEU activities on this portal. Using mobile devices or other browsers at any juncture will cause an error in the course completion process.

This course provided SLPs with a published research article, showing documented improvement, following the addition of TalkPath Therapy software into treatment and home programs. It also demonstrated the features and use of Lingraphica’s therapy software; TalkPath Therapy for skilled therapy and for home exercise programs and maintenance programs.

Learning Outcomes:
 
Participants will be able to:
  • Perform the basic functions of TalkPath Therapy for creating individualized speech therapy plans.
  • Utilize cueing features to maximize patient performance of TalkPath Therapy tasks.
  • Read and understand TalkPath Therapy reporting of patient performance.
  • Identify patient performance trends to modify individual TalkPath Therapy plans.
  • Train Care Extenders to facilitate home exercise programs/maintenance programs through TalkPath Therapy.
  • Use TalkPath Therapy reports to screen patient performance post skilled therapy.
 
Time-Ordered Agenda:
 
  • I hour: TalkPath Therapy basic functions
  • 2.5 hours: Utilizing TalkPath Therapy in skilled therapy sessions
  • 2 hours: Creating Home Exercise Programs/Maintenance Programs
  • 1 hour: Analyzing TalkPath Therapy Reports
  • 0.5 Hours: Article Review

 

Course Completion Requirements 

  1. Attendance and/or Completion of Online Lecture
  2. Completion of Learning Assessment with a minimum score of 70%
  3. Completion of an Activity Evaluation
