- Describe three different no tech, multi-modal therapy strategies to facilitate communication
- Define simple strategies communication partners can implement to improve communication exchanges with PWAs
- Explain how Lingraphica’s SmallTalk applications can be utilized for therapeutic, orthotic and prosthetic purposes
Time-Ordered Agenda
- 5 minutes: Introduction to course, speaker, learning objectives and agenda
- 10 minutes: Review of the top six challenges caregivers face according to Lingraphica’s 2020 AphasiaCaregiver Report
- 15 minutes: Supported Conversation Techniques
- 15 minutes: No tech, multi-modal therapy strategies
- 10 minutes: SmallTalk App Options oIntroduction and Examples
- 5 minutes: Wrap-up and conclusion
Course Completion Requirements
- Attendance and/or Completion of Online Lecture
- Completion of Learning Assessment with a minimum score of 70%

Instructional Personnel
Faye Stillman, MS, CC-SLP/ATP
Faye Stillman joined Lingraphica in January of 2014, as a Clinical Consultant, and is currently serving in the role of CEU Manager. She is an ASHA certified, and Florida licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), and a RESNA Certified Assistive TechnologyProfessional (ATP). She has authored three books, presented multiple times at ASHA and ATIA, and is an experienced clinician, clinical instructor, CFY supervisor, speech therapy discipline leader and therapy team leader. Faye graduated from the Universityof North Texas and Texas Woman’s University with BA and MS degrees in speech-language pathology, respectively.
