Course Description
Communication is a two-way street, but AAC use is rarely thought of as a team effort. This course provided research on the importance of communication partners in AAC training with adults. It outlined demographics and challenges of caregivers/communication partners. The course provided methods for involving communication partners in AAC training and provided valuable resources for this group.

Beth holds a bachelors in English from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Old Dominion University.
