Course Description
This course focused on effective communication strategies for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. Participants learned techniques to support language development and communication skills across settings. They distinguished challenges faced by D/HH children, demonstrated strategies to enhance language development, and explored how AAC and ASL can integrate to facilitate communication.

Katherine is a certified speech-language pathologist with over eight years of experience specializing in the Deaf and hard of hearing community. As the founder of Crowned with Confidence, Katherine provides tailored speech and language services to empower children who are deaf and hard of hearing. She is fluent in American Sign Language and is passionate about fostering effective communication.

Teresa is the Clinical Education Manager at Lingraphica. Teresa earned her BSBA from the University of Denver and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.
