Course Description
Evidence-based practice is imperative not only in clinical practice, but also in the development of AAC systems. This course presented the research base for a newly designed AAC platform, including peer-reviewed literature and user testing. The course also provided a demonstration of the new platform with an emphasis on the clinical benefits of key features.

Instructional Personnel

Caitlin Mueller, MS, CCC-SLP  

Caitlin Mueller joined Lingraphica’s Clinical Consultant Team in 2015. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a B.S. in Communication Studies from Utah State University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of the Pacific. She has experience with evaluating and treating clients with a variety of communication impairments using multiple AAC devices and apps.

Teresa Thompson, MA, CCC-SLP   

Teresa joined Lingraphica in 2020. She has more than 12 years of experience in speech-language pathology and has worked as a speech-language pathologist with adults in acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health settings. Teresa earned her BSBA from the University of Denver and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.
