Course Description
This course explored how Lingraphica serves those with speech and language impairments, including culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Ethical standards related to cultural competence were reviewed including solutions for overcoming barriers and implementing AAC. Demonstration of Lingraphica software with a case study and review of the trial process provided.

A'niyah Brown is a proud alumna of Hampton University (B.A.) and Ohio State University (M.A.), specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is dedicated to empowering both pediatric and adult clients with complex communication needs through customized AAC solutions and AI-driven tools.  

As an advocate for equity, A'Niyah not only advances accessible communication in her role at Lingraphica but also supports clinicians transitioning to non-clinical careers, hosting a free panel to guide and inspire their career pivots.

Maria F. Gallego, M.S. CCC-SLP  

Maria joined Lingraphica in 2022. She has experience providing speech and language services to pediatric and adult populations across school, outpatient, and home health settings. Maria holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a Master's in Speech Pathology from Florida International University.

Beth McHose, MS Ed, CCC-SLP   

Beth joined Lingraphica in 2018. She has experience providing speech and language services for the adult population in the acute, rehab, and home health settings. Beth holds a bachelors in English from Virginia Tech and a Master’s in Communication Sciences and disorders from Old Dominion University.

Teresa is the Clinical Education Manager at Lingraphica. Teresa earned her BSBA from the University of Denver and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.
