This course equipped speech-language pathologists with skills for effective supervision. Participants explored best practices, including active listening and coaching techniques. The course addressed considerations for supervising neurodiverse individuals and culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) populations, ensuring inclusive and effective supervision while enhancing clinical competencies.

  2. Utilize active listening and coaching techniques to support supervisees. 
  3. Address specific needs of neurodiverse individuals in a supervisory context. 
  4. Apply culturally responsive practices when supervising CLD populations.

Angela Mooney, MS, CCC-SLP  

Angela joined Lingraphica in 2021. She has experience providing speech and language services for the adult population in the acute, outpatient, and inpatient rehab settings. Angela holds a bachelors in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University and a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University.

Teresa Thompson, MA, CCC-SLP   

Teresa joined Lingraphica in 2020. She has more than 12 years of experience in speech-language pathology and has worked as a speech-language pathologist with adults in the acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health settings. Teresa earned her BSBA from the University of Denver and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.
